Deployment Philosophy
SynapSync deployments are engineered to integrate cleanly into existing infrastructure without creating new dependencies, exposing new attack surfaces, or requiring ongoing vendor connectivity. The goal is a system that, once installed, belongs entirely to the customer — operationally, technically, and legally.
Every deployment follows a structured methodology developed across diverse operational environments, from commercial data centers to classified government facilities. The process is designed to surface integration complexity early, while the technical team can address it, rather than during production operation.
Deployment Paths
SynapSync supports two deployment paths, selected based on customer timeline, existing hardware, and certification requirements:
Hardware Appliance Deployment: SynapSync ships pre-configured hardware appliances with Henri Neuronal Core pre-installed and validated. Customer infrastructure team integrates the appliance into the existing network and storage environment.
Software Deployment: The Neuronal Core software image deploys onto customer-provided hardware meeting minimum specifications. This path provides maximum flexibility for organizations with strict hardware procurement processes or air-gap requirements that preclude receiving external hardware.
Deployment Phases
All deployments progress through five structured phases:
- Phase 1 — Environment Assessment: Technical review of existing infrastructure, security architecture, network topology, and integration requirements. Output is a deployment specification document tailored to the specific environment.
- Phase 2 — Hardware Integration: Physical installation (appliance) or hardware validation (software path), followed by network integration and storage configuration. Security team reviews all network connections and access controls.
- Phase 3 — System Initialization: Neuronal Core initialization, model weight installation, and baseline configuration. System performs self-diagnostics and validates all subsystem connectivity. Initial operational parameters are configured.
- Phase 4 — Operational Tuning: The Neuronal Core is exposed to representative operational data for calibration. Processing parameters, memory retention policies, and sensor integration thresholds are adjusted for the specific operational environment.
- Phase 5 — Handover: Operations team training, documentation handover, and formal operational acceptance. SynapSync team is available for support but the system operates under customer control from this point.
Air-Gapped Deployments
For organizations requiring fully isolated deployment with no external network connectivity, SynapSync provides a dedicated air-gapped deployment process. All required components — software, model weights, documentation, and update packages — are delivered on encrypted physical media. The deployment team works entirely within the classified or isolated environment without requiring any outbound connectivity.
Air-gapped deployments are operationally identical to standard deployments. There is no functional difference between a networked and an air-gapped SynapSync system.
