Sovereignty Framework

SynapSync's sovereignty framework guarantees operational independence for organizations deploying our infrastructure. This framework establishes legally binding commitments ensuring customers maintain complete control over their AI infrastructure without external dependencies, vendor coordination, or forced upgrades.

Zero-Dependency Architecture

The SynapSync infrastructure operates without any external service dependencies. This architectural principle extends across all system components:

No License Validation Servers: System operation does not require network connectivity to SynapSync infrastructure. License validation occurs locally using cryptographic verification of perpetual license certificates. No phone-home mechanisms exist in production code.

No Cloud Service Dependencies: All processing occurs within customer infrastructure boundaries. No API calls to external services, no cloud-based computation offloading, no remote configuration servers. System functions completely in network-isolated environments.

No Telemetry Collection: Zero telemetry transmission from customer environments. System operates without sending usage data, error reports, or performance metrics to external systems. Customers control all diagnostic data collection and retention.

Perpetual Licensing Model

SynapSync provides perpetual usage rights through one-time licensing agreements:

  • No Subscription Dependencies: Perpetual license grants unlimited operational rights. No recurring fees, no subscription renewals, no forced payment schedules. One-time licensing fee provides lifetime operational rights.
  • No Forced Upgrades: Customers control upgrade timing and version selection. New releases are optional enhancements, never mandatory migrations. Organizations can operate specific versions indefinitely if that version meets their requirements.
  • Source Code Access: Core processing modules provided with source code access under AGPL v3 license. Customers can audit code, verify absence of telemetry, and self-compile if desired. Critical infrastructure components are fully transparent.
  • Modification Rights: Customers may modify source code for internal use. Custom modifications supported for organization-specific requirements. Modified systems remain fully functional without vendor approval.

Air-Gapped Operation Guarantee

SynapSync certifies complete air-gapped operational capability:

Network Isolation: System operates in fully network-isolated environments. No inbound or outbound network connectivity required for any operational function. All inter-component communication occurs over internal networks only.

Physical Media Updates: System updates delivered via secure physical media (encrypted USB, optical media). Update packages cryptographically signed and verifiable offline. No network-based update mechanisms exist.

Offline Documentation: Complete technical documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides provided in offline-accessible formats. No documentation requires internet connectivity to access.

Data Sovereignty Commitments

All data processing and storage occurs within customer-controlled infrastructure:

  • All training data, operational data, and system logs remain within customer infrastructure boundaries
  • No data transmission to SynapSync servers or third-party services
  • Customers maintain exclusive control over data retention, deletion, and access policies
  • System architecture prevents data exfiltration through technical controls
  • Data processing complies with customer-specified geographic and jurisdictional requirements

Legal Framework

These sovereignty commitments are legally enforceable under the SynapSync Infrastructure License Agreement v2.1, ratified by board resolution #2024-11-07. Customers receive perpetual license certificates with cryptographic verification enabling offline license validation. License terms prohibit introduction of external dependencies through updates or patches.
