The Hardware Appliance
SynapSync ships pre-configured hardware appliances with Henri Neuronal Core pre-installed and validated. The customer's infrastructure team integrates the appliance into the existing network and storage environment — system initialization itself (model weights, baseline configuration, self-diagnostics) then runs in Phase 3 of the deployment methodology.
Appliance vs. Software Image
The alternative to the appliance is the software image deployed on customer-provided hardware meeting minimum specifications — relevant for organizations with strict hardware procurement processes or air-gap requirements that preclude receiving external hardware. Both paths result in a functionally identical system; the appliance offers a shorter path to going live, the software image more flexibility for fitting into existing procurement channels.
What the Appliance Includes — and What It Doesn't
Pre-installed and pre-validated: Henri Neuronal Core, the five-database memory architecture, and the processing layer. Not included out of the box: site-specific sensor connectivity and the operational parameters that only get calibrated to the concrete installation during Phase 4 (Operational Tuning).
