Hardware Integration as Phase 2
After environment module comes hardware integration: physical installation of the appliance, or hardware validation on the software path, followed by network integration and storage configuration. The customer's security team reviews all network connections and access controls in this phase, before the Neural Core is initialized.
Integration Without New Dependencies
The goal of the integration phase is to connect the Neural Core to existing control systems, sensor networks, and data sources without creating new dependencies or opening new attack surfaces. The technology architecture's sensor abstraction layer and standardized driver model are built exactly for this: connecting new sources without modifying core processing.
Where Complexity Surfaces Early
Integration complexity is meant to surface early — while the technical team can still respond, rather than during production operation. That's why environment module directly precedes this phase: integration requirements identified there get implemented concretely here, not rediscovered.
